Sophie’s aunties, uncles, eldest sister and cousin decided to undertake this challenge to support rhabdo research
On the weekend of 19th to 20th June 2021, six members of Sophie Fairall’s family walked over 55km from Guildford to Fareham. They managed to generate an enormous £8.5K for Alice’s Arc.
They wanted to raise funds in recognition of Sophie’s journey with anaplastic rhabdomyosarcoma (an extremely rare subtype of rhabdomyosarcoma). They have been shocked that the survival rate for rhabdomyosarcoma remains largely unchanged over the last 30 years and they want to see change in this area.
We are so grateful for their support. We are all united in our goal to improve survival rates and find new, kinder treatments for rhabdomyosarcoma.
